Midshipman (later Captain) John Hugh ‘Huff’ Lewes (1900-1961) of the Royal Navy, son of John Herbert Lewes (1858-1935) and Constance Lewes née Sutherland (1873-1915) who lived with his father and siblings at 27 Clifton Gardens, Folkestone.
