Maurice Ceely Maude was Mrs Armstrong’s father. Married to Elise Maria Maude, they had five sons, Anthony (‘Tony’), Ralph, Christopher (‘Kit’), Ceely and Frederick (who died as a child) and five daughters, Mary (‘Dot’), Rebecca (‘Bee’), Lisalie (‘Zoo’), Rosalie (‘Rosie’) and Marguerite (‘Gretta’) Maude.
