Kitty (Kathleen Rachel Phillips; some pedigrees give her surname as Dubois) was married to the owner, Major Richard Pochin who had changed his name to Winstanley by deed poll when he succeeded to the property (he had inherited it from his mother, Anna Jane Pochin née Winstanley).
